Valtteri Bottas says he wants to end the 2021 season with a Constructors’ Championship win for Mercedes, and a Drivers’ title win for Lewis Hamilton.
Valtteri Bottas is leaving Mercedes at the end of 2021 after five years with the team. He says he wants to end his tenure with a double championship win.
“I want to win again, and I want to bring home the fifth constructors’ title for the team,” Bottas told Corriere Dello Sport.
“If I can’t win the championship, then I want Lewis to win it. But I still have a big motivation, I want individual results.

The Finn will be driving for Alfa Romeo next year, a team that had a tough season so far. However, Valtteri is optimistic for the future.
“I know they haven’t developed the car too much this year, so they haven’t made much progress. But I know the efforts they are making for the future, so I am not too worried.
“It was a given that they couldn’t make much progress this season. Next year it will be different, the cars will change and I am sure the results will improve,” concluded Bottas.
