Mercedes has been summoned by the FIA to a hearing on Thursday to determing whether they have the right to review the Verstappen/Hamilton Brazilian Grand Prix incident.
While Lewis Hamilton was attempting an overtake on Max Verstappen at the Brazilian Grand Prix, the Dutch driver pushed him wide and they both went off the track.
This helped Verstappen keep his position, but not for long, as a few laps later Hamilton managed to pass him to take P1.
The FIA at the time decided that the incident will not be investigated, even though after the race, Race Director Michael Masi admitted they did not have the onboard footage from Verstappen’s car when they were making the decision.
The footage has since surfaced and Mercedes decided to ask for a right to review the incident.

Well the FIA has now summoned Mercedes to a FIA video conference on November 18 at 17:00 local time in Qatar to determine whether the team has the right to review the case.
To be granted right to review, Mercedes needs to present “a significant and relevant new element which was unavailable to the parties seeking the review at the time of the decision concerned”. This would definitely be the new onboard video footage.
If the case is reviewed and Verstappen is found guilty of breaching the sporting rules, he could receive a time-penalty for the Brazilian Grand Prix, or a grid drop for the race in Qatar.
