When asked whether Max Verstappen could surpass his wins record, Lewis Hamilton said “records are there to be broken”. But what does Max think?
At the Canadian Grand Prix, Max Verstappen matched Ayrton Senna’s 41 race wins record. Naturally, the media is now looking at Michael Schumacher’s 91 wins record, and Lewis Hamilton’s 103 wins all-time record.
When Lewis was asked if he thinks Max could break his record, he said “records are there to be broken”. Max was also asked this same question.
“It’s very hard to do,” Verstappen said.
“You need to be in the right car for a long time and we don’t know if we have that. But it’s also not something I ever looked at.

The Dutch driver was then asked if he thinks Red Bull can win every race in 2023.
“If you look at how we are performing now, yes. But it’s very unrealistic.
“There will always be things that will go wrong in the season that are maybe sometimes out of your control,” Max concluded.
