Last year at the British Grand Prix, Max Verstappen received plenty of boos from the Silverstone crowd. He comments on the possibility of it happening again.
After the highly contentious 2021 Formula 1 season, and many controversial moment that happened throughout the title fight between Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen, the Dutch driver started receiving lots of boos from the crowd at certain races.
The boos were the loudest at races such as the United States Grand Prix, the Sao Paulo Grand Prix, the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, and the British Grand Prix.
This year, Max was asked about the possibility of it happening again at Silverstone.

“I don’t see this as having to prove anything against the crowd or whatever,” he said.
“I mean, I’m just here to have a good race and try to win it.”
Max added he is looking forward to racing in the UK.
“It’s an important race for us, we enjoy coming here,” the Dutchman concluded.
