Red Bull team boss Christian Horner says Mercedes has had “a difficult period”, but “they will get it together, one would assume, at some point”.
There’s no doubt that Red Bull has completely dominated the 2023 season. In fact, the team was so dominant that last year they managed to win all but one race.
Red Bull’s team boss Christian Horner, however, doesn’t expect his team to be as dominant in 2024.
“I’m sure over the next two years we’re going to see much closer racing,” the Briton told Speedcafe.
“We will not repeat the year [2023]. It will go down as a unicorn year for us, that’s for sure.”

As for Mercedes’ chances in 2024, Horner said:
“Mercedes has great strength in depth.
“Obviously, they’ve had a difficult period, but they’ve great drivers, and they will get it together, one would assume, at some point,” he concluded.
