Lewis Hamilton will move to Ferrari in 2025, but before that happens he says “it would be the greatest honor to be able to help” Mercedes “get back to the top”.
Lewis Hamilton will leave Mercedes at the end of 2024, to go to Ferrari in 2025. This will conclude his career-long relationship with Mercedes-Benz, and a 12-year relationship with its works team.
At Mercedes’ 2024 car launch, Lewis said his dream is to finish the relationship “on a high”.
“I feel the most motivated and focused I’ve ever been,” the Briton said.

“Every year you come back and you are like ‘I’m fitter than ever’ and all these different things. but I generally feel I put more work and more time and more focus into preparation this year.
“I never thought at this point in my life that I’d have hunger like I do right now. And to finish on a high with the team would be a dream.
“We’ve gone through a whole heap together, so to finish on a high, it would be the greatest honor to be able to help them get back to the top,” Hamilton concluded.
