Former F1 team manager Peter Windsor says Lewis Hamilton has “been abused so many times” by journalists that “he’s just given up really talking to the press in any sort of meaningful way”.
Former Williams and Ferrari team manager Peter Windsor, now working as a journalist, has called out his colleagues for the way they treat Lewis Hamilton and other F1 drivers.
In an interview with Cameron F1, Windsor said Lewis has been “abused” by the representatives of the media for years now.

“He’s been abused so many times by stupid questions from journalists who just want to provoke him into saying something that they can misquote and put in a big black bold headline,” the Briton said.
“He’s just given up really talking to the press in any sort of meaningful way and it’s very sad that the press these days has done that,” Windsor concluded.
