Lewis Hamilton’s shock decision to join Ferrari in 2025, has left Carlos Sainz without his seat with the Scuderia next year.
After the Spaniard’s spectacular start to the 2024 season, that includes a race win and two podiums, some observers have started to speculate that Ferrari might be starting to regret their decision.
At a Japanese Grand Prix press conference, a journalist started to ask Ferrari team boss Frederic Vasseur about an “alternative reality where you hadn’t already signed Lewis Hamilton for 2025”, before being promptly cut off.

“We have the same question each weekend,” Vasseur said.
“Do a copy-paste of my reply of last week, next one,” he concluded.
It seems that Vasseur, same as Hamilton, has had enough of journalists’ inflammatory questions.
