Mercedes has released an image from a new photo shoot in which George Russell is wearing a black Mercedes race suit.
Mercedes’ title partner Petronas has asked George Russell some quick questions aimed at helping fans to get to know him better.
George Russell has provided a short update on his work with Mercedes at their Brackley HQ, where he “saw a little show car with the 2022 livery on”.
George says drivers don’t get “quicker”, but they “do get better”, and during his time with Williams he was able to build up a “toolbox of experience”.
Back in 2020 at the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix George Russell crashed behind the Safety Car while running in P10. He describes it as “a dark day”.
