George Russell says the team made the right call when they asked him to move over for Lewis Hamilton, and there are “zero hard feelings” from his side.
George let his frustration be heard over the team radio several times during the Japanese GP. Afterwards, he played down the significance of his radio messages.
Lewis says he knew Mercedes’ call for him to slow down and give George DRS was not a good idea because he “needed to get as far clear ahead as possible”.
