Red Bull team boss Christian Horner says “what Lewis has achieved in F1 is second to none”, but he “can’t see where we would be able to accommodate Lewis”.
Since it became obvious that Mercedes is in for another difficult season, speculation has started running rampant about the possibility of Lewis Hamilton joining a different team in 2024.
Of course, there is nothing to these talks, and Lewis himself has dismissed such a possibility, but the media still remains fascinated with the story.
The more out there theory is that Lewis could be on his way to Red Bull, so Sky Sports decided to ask Christian Horner if something like this would be possible.
“What Lewis has achieved in F1 is second to none,” Horner said.
“But we’re very happy with the drivers that we have. They’re committed as a pair not only this season but the next season as well.

“So, I can’t see where we would be able to accommodate Lewis.”
Horner went on to say that he believes Mercedes will rebound and get back in the fight.
“I’m sure they’re going to sort their issues out. We’re certainly not writing [Hamilton] off yet!
“We’re hearing about big Mercedes upgrades, I’m sure Ferrari aren’t happy with their current position as well.
“So, we’re fully expecting things to converge quickly,” the Briton concluded.
