Max Verstappen was asked to give his comments on Mercedes’ radical upgrade of their 2022 challenger – the W13.
Mercedes stunned everyone when they revealed the new version of their 2022 challenger on the first day of pre-season testing in Bahrain.
The team’s new sidepod solution has already attracted some controversy, mostly courtesy of Red Bull team boss Christian Horner, who might or might not have said that his team considers the car to be illegal.
However, when Max Verstappen was asked to give his comments, he didn’t seem overly concerned.

“No, I’m not concerned,” Verstappen said.
“We can only focus on ourselves. I said this so many times last year, and we have to do it again this year, even if the cars look a bit different.
“There are so many unknown things, what we need to learn about, so I’m not worried at all,” the Dutch driver concluded.
