Interviewer: “A German reporter pressed him on it if it would be a no, he wont take a year off racing or F1, and he said he would be in F1 in 26”

Piquet Jr.: “He will be, until August he needs to have made a decision, they will either get the final details right or not. But I think it would be pretty cool.”

Interviewer: “To switch or to stay?”

Piquet Jr.: “To switch.”

Interviewer: “If he switches what’s the best scenario as a teammate, Russell or Antonelli?”

Piquet Jr.: “If he goes, it will definitely be Antonelli. For sure.”

This comes after the shocking dismissal of Christian Horner from his long-time position of team principal and CEO of Red Bull Racing.
