Sky Sports F1’s Ted Kravitz says the FIA still hasn’t made clear “to everybody exactly what did happen in Abu Dhabi”.
While answering questions following the Barcelona test, Ted Kravitz was asked if the FIA plans to “clear up the rules/regs on fair overtaking and defending moves”, considering “there were too many inconsistencies in decisions” in 2021, “most notably between Lewis and Max”.
“I hope so,” Kravitz replied.
“And this is what Mercedes were talking about when they said they wanted more than just accountability for what happened in Abu Dhabi.

“They wanted the system of governance – or what’s now called refereeing – properly sorted. So hopefully we will.
“But the FIA hasn’t exactly been quick to make clear to everybody exactly what did happen in Abu Dhabi,” the Briton concluded.
Kravitz echoed the sentiments from many fans here, as the FIA is yet to reveal the findings of their Abu Dhabi Grand Prix investigation and explain why race director Michael Masi made the decision that he did.
