After facing difficulties at the Australian Grand Prix, Mercedes team boss Toto Wolff was asked if the team is looking to hire a new ‘design guru’.
While Mercedes had high expectations regarding their 2024 car, unfortunately the results in the first three races were disappointing.
After another difficult race in Australia, where the team suffered a double DNF, team boss Toto Wolff was asked if he is looking at hiring a new ‘design guru’.
“So, you have the first idea of design guru?” the Austrian asked with a smile.

“I think you always need to look at ourselves, like I need to look at myself, what is it? Why is it that we can’t get there?
“We’re all humans. You know the answer, data don’t take decisions, humans do. So, we’re not stopping. I’m not sitting here and dwelling, but on the contrary.
“I’m thinking of what else is it that we need to do, and how can we push?” Wolff concluded.
