Ahead of the British Grand Prix, Toto Wolff was seen having a discussion with FIA President Mohammed Ben Sulayem, in what the media dubbed a “secret meeting”.

Shortly before the start of British Grand Prix Qualifying, Mercedes team boss Toto Wolff was photographed having a discussion with FIA President Mohammed Ben Sulayem on the top floor of the FIA hospital motorhome.

This spurred rumours surrounding the topics of their conversation, with some in the media believing they were having early discussions about the new 2026 Concorde Agreement.

When asked about this, Toto decided not to be very specific.

“It was entertaining,” the Austrian said of the conversation.

“The discussion was normal but it’s always good. There’s a few things that can be discussed. We discussed the overall situation in Formula 1, Concorde and these things.

“But it is more, we haven’t seen each other for a while and there was an exchange on a few topics,” Wolff concluded.
