While signing fan merchandise, George Russell accidentally signed a Red Bull Max Verstappen cap. Mercedes did not let this slide!
During a fan event at Spa, George Russell was putting his signature on fan merchandise, but one of the items he signed was a Red Bull Max Verstappen cap.
Mercedes did not let their driver off the hook, so the team released a video of the situation, complete with appropriate sound effects.
Just as Russell was signing the cap, the team edited in the ‘something ain’t right’ soundbite, zoomed in on the face of the cap’s owner, and added a ‘wasted’ caption.
