Associated Press reporter Jenna Fryer reports that Lewis Hamilton’s former physio and assistant Angela Cullen has returned to motorsport as a trainer for former Ferrari Academy driver.

Angela Cullen has been working as Lewis Hamilton’s physiotherapist and overall right-hand woman since 2016, and in that time the duo became one of the most recognizable pairs on the Formula 1 grid.

Unfortunately, in early 2023, Lewis and Angela announced they will no longer be working together. As Angela put it at the time, she felt she needed to embark on her “next adventure”.

Well, now it appears her ‘adventure’ took her back to motorsport. This weekend Angela was spotted at the Thermal Club paddock for the latest round of the IndyCar championship, and according to Associated Press reporter Jenna Fryer, she is working with her countryman, IndyCar driver Marcus Armstrong, as he embarks on his second season in the series.

The New Zealander is currently driving for the Chip Ganassi Racing team, but in his junior career he was a member of the Ferrari Driver Academy from 2017 to 2021.

In his junior career Armstrong won the Italian F4 championship, finished second in the Formula 3 championship in 2019, and then moved to Formula 2 where he won four races during his three seasons in the series. In 2023 he started driving in IndyCar.

It is as of yet unknown if this is a full time job, or if she is just helping Armstrong on a part-time basis.
