Former F1 driver Martin Brundle says Angela Cullen’s absence won’t affect Lewis Hamilton’s performance, but “he’ll have to find someone new”.
After seven-years of working closely with Lewis Hamilton as his physiotherapist and overall assistant, Angela Cullen will now be moving on to her ‘next adventure’.
Although Lewis said he is still in regular contact with Angela, this is certainly a big change for the seven-time champion.
However, Sky Sports reporter (and former F1 driver) Martin Brundle doesn’t think this will affect Lewis’ performance.
“It’s not great news for Lewis,” the Briton said.
“Whenever you saw Lewis in the paddock or pit lane Angela was with him supporting him. When he was off training she’d be with him as well.

“So he’ll have to find someone new, nothing’s forever as we know.
“I’m sure it won’t detract from his overall performance, but it’s such a treadmill now the Formula One season and Angela wants to go and do something else.
“She’s got some young children hasn’t she and I can understand being on the road like we are in Formula 1 is quite the challenge,” Brundle concluded.
