It’s fair to say that Christian Horner and Toto Wolff had their share of public spats over the years, especially in 2021. Now, Horner provides an update on their relationship.
Red Bull team boss Christian Horner and Mercedes team boss Toto Wolff have been engaged in a fierce war of words since their respective teams’ big 2021 title fight.
Although Mercedes has not been able to challenge Red Bull for the title in 2022, and so far in 2023, the two team principals still don’t seem to be on the best of terms.
However, when Horner was recently asked to provide an update on their relationship, he played down any animosity.
“It’s fine,” he said on the Pardon My Take podcast.

“I mean, look, there’s healthy competition. And it’s good to have a rivalry in sport. Yeah.
“And, you know, they did a lot of winning, they’re a great team, and now we’re doing our thing.
“And, you know, we’re tending not to look behind, we’re looking forward. And it’s not really about Toto. I mean, it’s about Ferrari, about Aston Martin.
“And he’s no doubt got his challenges, so I’ll let him focus on those,” Horner concluded.
