Recently there has been some speculation in the F1 media regarding Adrian Newey and his possible move from Red Bull to Mercedes. Christian Horner responds.
Recently the host of Formula 1’s official F1 Nation podcast Tom Clarkson revealed that Adrian Newey’s contract is “being discussed within the corridors of power”, while Damon Hill speculated about Newey’s interest in a switch to Mercedes.
This prompted Sky Sports F1 to ask Red Bull team boss Christian Horner to give his comments on Newey’s status with the team.

“We don’t talk about contracts or longevity of contracts but he’ll be here for many years to come,” Horner said.
“His heart is still very much in Formula 1. He’s such an important part of our team and popular part of our team.
“There’s always going to be rumours in this paddock, that’s Formula 1,” the Briton concluded.
