George Russell says Red Bull feel “almost embarrassed to show their full potential because the faster they seem globally, the more that the sport is going to try and hold them back somehow”.
At the Australian Grand Prix Red Bull has once again proven they are the class of the field, with nobody even close to being able to challenge them in the foreseeable future.
To make matters even worse for the competition, after the race George Russell said he believes Red Bull is still not showing its true pace.
“For sure they’re holding back,” the Briton told the BBC Chequered Flag podcast.

“They’re almost embarrassed to show their full potential because the faster they seem globally, the more that the sport is going to try and hold them back somehow.
“Realistically, they have around seven-tenths advantage over the rest of the field.
“Max has got no reason to be pushing it at the moment and neither does Red Bull,” Russell concluded.
