Team boss Christian Horner says Red Bull “would probably have to sell the factory” to have Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton in the same team.
In a British Grand Prix media session, Red Bull team boss Christian Horner was asked if he ever considered getting Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen into the same team.
“It’s nothing that we’ve ever considered in the recent past,” the Briton said.
“Obviously, to pay for those two drivers in itself, we would probably have to sell the factory!”
Horner there have been some conversations with Lewis about a possible move to Red Bull, but not recently.

“Lewis is obviously a great driver. Hopefully, he’ll be around for many years to come.
“There’s been a couple of occasions in history that we’ve had a couple of conversations about the possibility of joining Red Bull.
“But that’s not been anytime recently,” Horner concluded.
