Former Ferrari team boss and FIA president Jean Todt blasts those who try to provide ‘updates’ on the condition of Michael Schumacher.
It is well known that Michael Schumacher has been involved in a terrible skiing accident back in 2023, which caused serious head injuries. Apart from that very little is known about his condition.
One of the people who have provided small updates on the seven-time champion here and there, has been his long-time team boss and friend Jean Todt.
However, in a recent talk with Corriere della Sera, Todt said that other people who claim to know something about Michael’s condition, actually ‘know nothing’.
“Let’s leave him alone,” the Frenchman said.
“We respect the privacy wishes of Corinna and her children, we know that that accident had consequences.

“Anyone who says he knows something, he knows nothing. I always go to see him, he and his family are my family.”
In an earlier interview Todt revealed that he has watched at least one Formula 1 race with Michael since his accident.
When asked what he (Todt) still watches when it comes to racing, he said:
“Everything: rally, endurance, Formula E…. I talk to [F1 CEO Stefano] Domenicali before and after the races.
“I’ve seen Bahrain and Jeddah; when the GP is on, I don’t make any commitments,” Todt concluded.
