Lewis Hamilton and Mercedes have agreed on a new two-year cotract that will keep them together until at least the end of 2023. The Briton gives his first comments.
After only signing a one-year extension with Mercedes for 2021, there was much speculation about Lewis Hamilton’s future with Mercedes and Formula 1.
However, with today’s announcement that the seven-time champion and Mercedes have agreed on a two-year contract extension, the speculation in over and Lewis is delighted.
“It is hard to believe it’s been nearly nine years working with this incredible team and I’m excited we’re going to continue our partnership for two more years,“ said the Briton.
“We’ve accomplished so much together but we still have a lot to achieve, both on and off the track.
