Lewis Hamilton has unveiled a new helmet design for the 2022 season, with a colour scheme which is a throwback to his “roots”!
Lewis Hamilton has switched up his helmet design ahead of the first race of the 2022 season. Gone is the purple and black scheme he sported in 2020 and 2021, while yellow makes a return.
As Lewis explained in a social media post, he wanted to pay homage to his early days.
“For this year’s helmet I wanted to show love to my beginnings,” Hamilton wrote.
“As much as I love purple and black, yellow is my history. I’m going into this season with the same dedication, drive, and passion I had way back in my karting days,” he concluded.
You can take a look at the new design below.
