Formula 1 has polled all 10 team principals to determine the best driver of 2019. Lewis Hamilton again took the crown.
Unsurprisingly Lewis Hamilton was ranked No. 1, while Valtteri Bottas, who drove the best season of his career, finished in fourth place.
The points system used was the same as in an Formula 1 race. Each team principal had to rank their drivers with the first one getting 25 points, the second 18, and so on. Using this points system Hamilton scored 169 points, 23 points ahead of second placed Max Verstappen. Bottas scored 68 points to secure fourth place in the rankings.
