At the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix press conference Lewis Hamilton praised the legacy of the late Prince Philip and expressed his condolences to Queen Elizabeth.
Formula 1 will pay tribute to the late Prince Philip before Saturday’s Emilia Romagna Grand Prix Qualifying. Furthermore, F1 has changed the times of Friday’s free practice sessions because of Prince Philip’s funeral.
At the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix press conference Lewis Hamilton paid tribute to the late Duke of Edinburgh.
“The Duke of Edinburgh was such a racing fan and it’s so sad to hear of his passing,” the Briton said.

“He had a really great long life and I know he was really committed to having an impact and helping young people. I think it’s pretty inspiring the legacy he has left behind.
“My thoughts are with Her Majesty and her family and I hope that we can continue to race and I am sure he will be watching from above,” concluded Hamilton.
