In light of Mercedes’ recent improvement and Ferrari’s dip in form, Lewis Hamilton was asked if he is regretting his move to the Italian team next year.

In recent races Mercedes has obviously made a big improvement with their car, and judging by recent results, they have now surpassed Ferrari.

With that in mind, after he finished the Spanish Grand Prix in P3, Lewis Hamilton was asked by journalists if he is now regretting his move to Ferrari in 2025.

“No, not at all,” the Briton said.

“Firstly, I love Mercedes. I’ve been with Mercedes since I was 13. I’ll always be a fan and supporter of Mercedes.

“My job this year and right now is to work as hard as I can with the crew that I have and the people back at the factory to develop the car in the right direction.

“My job will start next year at the other team [Ferrari] who I think are doing a great job. I think they’ve had a couple of difficult races, but let’s not forget they had a great race in Monaco.

“I can’t tell you what is wrong with their car and why they are in the position they’re in today, but they did bring an upgrade here. I think they are definitely progressing.

“But it doesn’t make me second-guess my decision at all,” Hamilton concluded.
