Lewis Hamilton is reportedly involved in a planned Apple Studios produced Formula 1 movie that is set to feature Brad Pitt.
Deadline reports that Apple is involved in a “highly competitive race” to acquire “an untitled pitch package” connected to Brad Pitt, ‘Top Gun: Maverick’ director Joseph Kosinski, screenwriter Ehren Kruger and producer Jerry Bruckheimer.
The film would star Brad Pitt as “a racer who comes out of retirement to mentor a younger driver and take his final stab at glory on the track as the younger driver’s teammate”.
It’s interesting to note that Jerry Bruckheimer produced the original ‘Top Gun’ movie and co-produced the 1990 NASCAR movie ‘Days of Thunder’ starring Tom Cruise.

What is even more interesting is that Lewis Hamilton is attached to this new project, but it is not yet clear in what capacity, whether it’s in a cameo appearance, a larger role or as an advisor.
Lewis is no stranger to Hollywood as he made a cameo appearance in 2016 Ben Stiller comedy ‘Zoolander 2’, and famously lent his voice in Pixar animated features ‘Cars 2’ and ‘Cars 3’. He has also served as an executive producer on the 2018 documentary film “The Game Changers”.
Formula 1 and Liberty Media are said to not be involved in the project as of yet.
