Lewis Hamilton says Austrian Grand Prix Sprint Qualifying “was pretty disastrous”, but “practice felt good, the car generally felt good”.
Lewis Hamilton again had quite a good Austrian Grand Prix Free Practice session, however in Sprint Qualifying he managed to get only P6.
Afterwards, Lewis said he simply had a bad session.
“It wasn’t in the mix at all, the whole session was pretty disastrous from my point of view,” the Briton said.
“What can I say, practice felt good, the car generally felt good. I don’t think we had the pace obviously to be on pole, but yeah, very bad laps.”

As for how things are going to be in the Sprint Race tomorrow, Lewis said:
“Who knows, I don’t think overtaking is mega here, but we’ll give it our best.
“It’s usually not such an eventful race, so I think the focus will be mostly on getting a better qualifying tomorrow,” he concluded.
