After the Italian Grand Prix, Lewis Hamilton has shared a message about “a unique time in my life, one that continues to bring out a lot of emotions”.
After the Italian Grand Prix, the final race of the European Formula 1 season, Lewis Hamilton took to social media to express his emotions regarding his final race with Mercedes in Europe.
“Leaving Monza, it hit me that it was the last European race this year,” the Briton wrote.
“The last time I’ll be in my room in engineering that’s been my home for 12 years.

“This is such a unique time in my life, one that continues to bring out a lot of emotions. What I feel the most is pride and gratitude.
“The memories will last forever, as will the memories I make next year,” Hamilton concluded.
Next year Lewis will return to Italy as a Ferrari driver, which will surely be another emotional rollercoaster.
