Lewis Hamilton implies the FIA lets Red Bull get away with certain things and adds they need to make sure the rules are “consistent for everyone”.
After the Spanish Grand Prix Qualifying Lewis Hamilton mentioned Red Bull had an advantage thanks to their “bendy” rear wing.
Although Red Bull insisted the wing was legal, the FIA decided start performing further tests on the cars sometime in June, to prevent teams from “exploiting designs that pass the static tests but still flex at speed”.
However ahead of the Monaco Grand Prix, Hamilton warned the FIA that Red Bull might have an unfair advantage at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix, if the tests are not implemented by then.

“It’s [the “bendy” wing] going to be worth at least six-tenths there, probably,” the Briton told Sky Sports.
“I think we need to continue to apply pressure to the FIA to just do a better job of controlling things, you know?
“If you look at the last race, for example, we were supposed to all keep our [tyre] blankets on in qualifying.
“Red Bull were allowed to take theirs off, and no-one else is allowed to. So I think we just need to make sure it’s consistent for everyone.
“What you’ve got to acknowledge is that these engineers are geniuses, so if you leave them wiggle room, they will wiggle,” concluded Hamilton.
