Amid rumours over who might follow Lewis Hamilton to Ferrari, it is now being reported that his contract contains a ‘non-poaching’ clause.
After it was announced that Lewis Hamilton will be leaving Mercedes to go to Ferrari in 2025, one of the main questions on everybody’s mind is whether anybody from the team will follow him when he leaves?
Some are already speculating that his long-time race engineer Peter Bonnington – Bono could be set to switch to red alongside the seven-time champion, although nothing has been said officially at this point.

However, it has now emerged that Lewis will be prevented from enticing any technical of other Mercedes staff to go with him to Ferrari.
According to RacingNews365.com, a Mercedes spokesperson has confirmed that Lewis’ current Mercedes contract contains a ‘non-solicitation’ clause, which prevents him from soliciting any team members to leave with him.
Whether this can prevent people like Bono from leaving, if he chooses to do so, remain to be seen.
