Lewis Hamilton’s vegan fast food restaurant chain Neat Burger has won PETA’s inaugural Company of the Year Award.
Lewis Hamilton, Beyond Meat investor Tommaso Chiabra and several other investors founded the vegan fast food restaurant chain Neat Burger in 2019. Since then the company has expanded significantly and is now valued at around $70m.
The restaurant provides protein-packed vegan meals like the SMASH Burger, the Filet-No-Fish burger and many other fast-food classics with a vegan twist.
Earlier this year Neat Burger has announced they will open 14 new restaurants in London, with a regional expansion planned for 2022. While announcing the expansion Lewis said:
“We created Neat Burger to make plant-based eating more accessible to everyone whether you eat plant-based all the time or just want to add it to your diet every now and again.

“The response to Neat Burger since we opened has been incredible. I’m really proud of the boundaries we have been able to push in this space and the plans for expansion both in terms of sites and delivery are really exciting.”
Now, animal rights organization PETA has awarded Neat Burger its inaugural Company of the Year Award.
PETA has already honoured Lewis for his efforts in promoting animal rights, by naming him their 2018 Person of the Year.
