Amid rumours of a possible switch to Mercedes, Max Verstappen says it’s “nice to hear” Toto Wolff say he would “love to have him”.
There has been a lot of speculation about Max Verstappen’s possible switch to Mercedes in the media recently, especially in light of Red Bull’s internal power struggles.
To make things even more interesting, Mercedes team boss Toto Wolff recently said he would “love to have” Max in his team.
When asked if Wolff’s comments could influence his future decisions, Max said:

“It doesn’t have any impact on me on what I would do, [but] it’s always nice to hear that.
“Toto and I, we had our little moments but that’s normal between two teams battling for the championship. But the respect has always been there.
“From my side, it doesn’t change anything,” Verstappen concluded.
