Mick Shumacher says it is “very humbling to hear what Mercedes and especially Toto says about me”, as he ponders a switch from Ferrari to Mercedes.
After two years with the Haas team, Mick Schumacher will not have a Formula 1 seat for 2023.
The young German has been a part of Ferrari’s driver academy for years, but recently some media outlets have linked him with a reserve driver role with Mercedes.
At the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix Saturday press conference, Toto Wolff was very complementary of the young German, and when asked about this, Mick confirmed he could see himself switch from Ferrari to Mercedes.

“My dad did the switch from Ferrari to Mercedes,” Mick said.
“I don’t see a reason why not right now. But again, as I said earlier this week, I have time now.
“So I’ll consider all the options that I have to then hopefully make the right decision for me.
“It’s definitely very humbling to hear what Mercedes and especially Toto says about me,” Schumacher concluded.
