After the Azerbaijan Grand Prix Sprint Race, Max Verstappen wanted to have a word with George Russell about their lap one scuffle, but George wasn’t interested. This caused Max to call the Briton a “d**khead”.

George Russell and Max Verstappen were involved in a battle for P3 at the beginning of the Azerbaijan Grand Prix Sprint Race. George ultimately came out on top, but Max’s car picked up some damage after a small contact.

Afterwards in parc ferme, after they got out of their cars, Max tried to have a word with the Briton.

While walking off to get weighted, George told Max: “It’s not on purpose mate, I’ve got no grip, I was locking up.”

“Mate, we all have no grip, you all need to give a little bit of space,” Verstappen answered.

George didn’t want to get into a discussion so he just said “I know, I know, watch the onboard”, and walked off.

This didn’t sit well with Max, who then told George to “expect next time the same”, while he watched George walk away.

Obviously frustrated by Russell basically blowing him off, the Dutch driver then called him a “d**khead”.

It has to be said that it’s amusing to see Max telling drivers they need to give space, considering how he usually has no trouble running his rivals off the track.
