George Russell says his collision with Lewis Hamilton happened because of “a massive miscommunication”, and adds “communication should be better” within the team.
After the Spanish Grand Prix Qualifying collision between Lewis Hamilton and George Russell, George says the team needs to “talk internally about how that happened”.
“It was just a massive miscommunication,” Russell said.
“I was looking ahead trying to get the slipstream from Carlos [Sainz] and next thing Lewis was there.

“So we need to talk internally about how that happened, because between two teammates, it never should.
“It was neither [driver’s] fault. Nothing by either driver was necessarily wrong, just within the team, it shouldn’t happen.
“The communication should be better,” the Briton concluded.
