Red Bull CEO Oliver Mintzlaff has recently criticised Toto Wolff for publicly courting Max Verstappen. Wolff says he doesn’t know “what this guy is reacting to”.

Ahead of the Miami Grand Prix, statements emerged from Red Bull CEO Oliver Mintzlaff, who criticised Mercedes team boss Toto Wolff for publicly courting Max Verstappen.

Mintzlaff said that Wolff’s conduct is “not appropriate”, and added “Wolff should focus on his own problems”.

Well, it didn’t take long for Toto to respond.

“I don’t know what this guy is reacting to, it’s not relevant to me,” he said when asked about the comments.

Toto also dismissed the rumours that he is set to meet with Verstappen on Monday.

“I can’t comment too much on it, but there will be no meeting on Monday. Max is a target for all teams. I have said before that I don’t think he should leave in 2025.

“He is the top driver at the moment and has to make a decision. Perhaps there is not even a decision to make and things will stay as they are.

“But that is no guide for us,” Wolff concluded.
