Mercedes team boss Toto Wolff says seeing Lewis Hamilton’s Ferrari debut photos is like seeing “your partner for the first time with a new friend”.
Last month, Lewis Hamilton made his Ferrari debut with a widely shared photo of himself in a suit, in front of Enzo Ferrari’s house.
Mercedes team boss Toto Wolff says it was awkward for him to see it at first, and then reveals what he told Lewis afterwards.
“It’s a little bit like you divorce amicably,” the Austrian said.

“And it’s all good, and then you see your partner for the first time with a new friend!
“But I’m really happy for him, and I told him that those pictures were iconic that he made. It was so well curated.
“And [that’s] no surprise with Lewis,” Wolff concluded.
