Mercedes team boss Toto Wolff says the team’s re-signing of Technical Director James Allison guarantees “stability at the very top of the tree”.
Last month Mercedes announced that James Allison has signed a new long-term deal to remain the team’s Technical Director.
Team boss Toto Wolff says this guarantees long-term stability at the top of the organization.
“James is a great leader,” the Austrian said.

“He has been in the past and will be in the future. By re-signing him for a very long period, we have guaranteed stability at the very top of the tree.
“But there are many other very valuable leaders that have committed for the mid-to long term and others will join too.
“I think we have tried to really understand what organization we want to have in the future and I’m happy that we were able to do it without compromise,” Wolff concluded.
