Toto Wolff says “going into the summer break, I feel that we are on the right trajectory overall”, and adds Mercedes will “recharge over the summer break and come back refreshed and re-energised”.
Lewis Hamilton and George Russell finished the Belgian Grand Prix in P4 and P6 respectively. After the race Mercedes team boss Toto Wolff discussed the team’s performance.
“We struggled with the car at points today and experienced some bouncing,” the Austrian said.
“That was the main limiting factor this weekend, so we’ve got some work to do to understand that more.
“We’ve got the shutdown coming up, but we will get our heads down this week, review the data, and see what we can do to make progress.”
Ultimately, Toto believes Mercedes is moving in the right direction.
