While presenting his new helmet designed by his girlfriend Tiffany Cromwell, Valtteri Bottas pointed to an image of a Siberian wolf and said it represents his “spirit for this year”.
Ahead of the 2021 season Bottas already said he would be “a bit more selfish” this season, and now he reinforces that statement with his new helmet design.
“I decided it was time for something different again,” said the Finn while presenting the helmet.
“It’s a new season, a new page in my career and so, [I have a] new lid that was designed by my girlfriend Tiffany Cromwell, again.
“She’s done quite a few helmets for me now, but this is the latest one.”

Along with his usual blue color the helmet has one interesting detail, a Siberian wolff painted at the back. The Finn explains it represents his “spirit” for the 2021 season.
“A small feature that I like myself is this one, a wolf at the back. A Siberian wolf, because that’s the spirit for this year.
“I’m a lone wolf and if you google about a wolf and read about it, you understand,” concluded Bottas.
