Mercedes released a video interview with Senior Race Engineers Peter Bonnington – Bono and Riccardo Musconi – Riki.
Bono, who previously worked with Michael Schumacher, has been Lewis Hamilton‘s race engineer since the Briton started with Mercedes in 2013, while Riki was assigned to Valtteri Bottas in 2019. In the interview, among other things, Bono reveals the origin of the “It’s Hammertime!” phrase. You can watch the full interview below.
