In a new video George Russell has presented his new black and red 2022 helmet, which is a departure from his previous predominantly red designs that he used in junior categories and when testing or racing for Mercedes.
The young Briton reveals he didn’t want to use the red helmet out of respect, because the colour was mostly associated with Michael Schumacher‘s time with Mercedes.
