Lewis Hamilton’s former assistant and physio Angela Cullen was seen at this weekend’s IndyCar race supporting Marcus Armstrong, which sparked speculation about her return to motorsport.

This weekend Angela Cullen was spotted at the Thermal Club paddock for the IndyCar $1 Million Challenge race, and according to Associated Press reporter Jenna Fryer, she is working with her countryman, IndyCar driver Marcus Armstrong, as he embarks on his second season in the series.

Angela has worked as Lewis Hamilton’s physiotherapist and overall right-hand woman since 2016, before they both announced in early 2023 they will no longer be working together.

Needless to say her possible return to motorsport has piqued the curiosity of Lewis Hamilton fans worldwide.

While the full capacity of Angela’s involvement with Armstrong is not officially known, she did acknowledge her presence at the track in her Instagram posts.

“Super excited to be supporting fellow Kiwi [Marcus Armstrong] and the [Chip] Ganassi [Racing] team this weekend’s Thermal Race,” she wrote.

She added she will also be cheering for the Mercedes F1 team in the Australian Grand Prix, which was being held in the same weekend:

“And will be cheering loudly for the boys in Aussie @mercedesamgf1.”

In a different post, showing Armstrong preparing for the race, Cullen wrote: “It’s business time…”
