After Lewis Hamilton won his first race since 2021, his race engineer Peter Bonnington – Bono came on his radio, which led to an emotional exchange between them.
After Lewis Hamilton won the British Grand Prix, his first race win since 2021, his long-time race engineer Peter Bonnington – Bono came on the radio to give him an emotional message.
“Get in there Lewis, you are the man, you are the man,” Bono said.
“Mate, I have been waiting for this,” he concluded.
An emotional Lewis then sent out a message to his team.

To this, Bono replied: “This one means a lot to us all.”
