Susie Wolff has filed a “criminal complaint” against the FIA after their investigation into her and her husband Toto Wolff’s alleged conflict of interest.
A report published by BusinessF1 magazine back in December of 2023 has suggested that Mercedes team boss Toto Wolff and his wife, F1 Academy Managing Director Susie Wolff are allegedly disclosing confidential information to each other.
The FIA then announced they have opened an investigation into the matter, but refrained from naming any names. Two days later the FIA announced they are dropping their investigation.
This story has garnered much attention, and it remains unclear what prompted the FIA to start the investigation in the first place.
Many believe the whole situation was started because of a personal grudge between Mercedes team boss Toto Wolff and FIA President Mohammed Ben Sulayem.
Now, Susie has announced she has filed a “criminal complaint” as a reaction to the FIA’s short-lived investigation.

“I can confirm that I personally filed a criminal complaint in the French courts on the 4th of March in relation to the statements made about me by the FIA last December,” Wolff said.
“There has still not been any transparency or accountability in relation to the conduct of the FIA and its personnel in this matter.
“I feel more than ever it is important to stand up, call out improper behaviour and make sure people are held to account.
“Whilst some may think silence absolves them from responsibility – it does not,” she concluded.
