Red Bull’s advisor Dr. Helmut Marko says he believes Lewis Hamilton will not quit Formula 1 because he is “way too good to stop”.
The media speculation regarding Lewis Hamilton’s possible retirement from Formula 1 in 2022 is still going strong.
Even though he never indicated he is thinking of quitting, the media took Toto Wolff’s recent comments that he ‘hopes’ Lewis will return, and ran with the story.
One of the people asked to give his opinion on Lewis’ possible retirement from F1 is Red Bull’s advisor Dr. Helmut Marko.
“Lewis will do everything to get the eighth title,” Marko told SPORT1.

“He’s still way too good to stop. He was able to deal with defeat before and he can do it now. ”
The Austrian also gave his comments on George Russell joining Mercedes is 2022.
“The only thing I’m looking forward to is how much pressure his new team-mate George Russell can put on Hamilton. [Valtteri] Bottas couldn’t do that.
“That could then be an advantage for us,” Marko concluded.
